LUKE MISTRUZZI

Director, Animator, Videographer, Editor

Before co-founding Powerline Films I worked as a commercial editor and stop motion animator, and helped make content for the likes of Disney, MTV, Koodo, CBC, Milk, YTV, Nickelodeon, and more. If curious here is my old stop-motion demo reel.

This experience provided me with a broad technical understanding of filmmaking which helps inform all of Powerline’s client driven projects.

Since co-founding Powerline Films I’ve enjoyed filming across North America and Europe, animating projects that tell the stories of innovation and hope, editing together films that showcase technology and educate public interests , and interviewing everyone. No doubt interviewing people from all walks of life is the best part of our job.

Currently I reside in Hamilton Ontario where when not making films I like to explore the city with my son.

Collaborators

One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is the collaborative nature of filmmaking. Whether we need a certain style of illustration, motion graphics, programing, or filming in a particular style or remote parts of the world, we are connected with a talented network of skilled experts within the global film community.  We manage all required labour and communications to ensure that we create your wildest visions and ideas.
